UP student completes actuarial science degree at age 17

The University of Pretoria is glowingly reporting a first for the institution. At an age when most teenagers are still navigating high school, Mongiwa Hazel Ntuli will be donning her graduation gown this autumn as one of UP's youngest-ever graduates – obtaining a degree in Actuarial Science that she’d completed at the age of 17. The team shone a spotlight on this incredible achievement and posed the question to the listeners, "Is there a job where you feel no matter how qualified a person is, you don’t trust them because of age and experience?"
