Walking for Anastassia on 13 September 2025

I want to share the story of a very brave little girl, Anastassia. She was born with a rare condition called syndactyly, where her tiny fingers were fused together. She’s already been through one surgery, but complications have left her in pain, unable to use her hands the way a child should.

Anastassia needs more medical care—to heal, to play, and to dream, just like every child deserves. Her family is reaching out, not for sympathy, but for support. Every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every donation brings her closer to hope.

We are deeply grateful and thankful to Curves Swakopmund, who have generously organized a 5km walk in aid of Anastassia’s surgery—a reminder of what we can achieve when communities come together.

If your heart moves you to help, donations can be made to Anastassia Nasya Adams at Nedbank Namibia. For more details, please contact Claudia at 081 852 4947 or email giveherahandnamibia@gmail.com

Effort vs Overfunctioning

Effort is healthy in relationships. But overfunctioning is not. Because effort is shared… overfunctioning is one-sided. Love shouldn’t feel like you’re doing all the work.

Healthy Love After Toxic Love

Healthy love after toxic love can feel strange at first. Because when you’re used to emotional chaos, calm can feel like something is missing. No guessing. No highs and lows. No anxiety. And instead of thinking “this is good”… you might think “this feels too quiet.” But often, what feels…

Why Mixed Signals Can Feel Addictive

Mixed signals don’t just feel confusing… They feel emotionally addictive. Because your brain doesn’t respond to clarity — it responds to unpredictability. One moment you feel wanted. The next moment you feel unsure.
