President Ramaphosa Pays Tribute to Nathi Mthethwa After Tragic Death

South Africa is reeling after the sudden death of its ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, who was found dead in Paris shortly after being reported missing. The 58-year-old former Cabinet Minister had only taken up the post in December 2023. President Cyril Ramaphosa has described Mthethwa’s death as a "tragic loss" and offered heartfelt condolences to his wife, Philisiwe Buthelezi, and the broader diplomatic community. French authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
