The Public Protector has dropped a bombshell report finding Gauteng’s much-talked-about Crime Prevention Wardens, the Amapanyaza were created and deployed unlawfully. Advocate Kholeka Gcaleka says the entire operation breached the Constitution, from recruitment to deployment, with no legal framework to support it.
