FROM WAR TO BREAKTHROUGH: ALETTÉ WINCKLER'S JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION

Aletté Winckler sits down with JustGospel to share her remarkable journey from image consultant to inner healer, revealing how God transformed her ministry focus from external makeovers to profound heart transformation. As a pastor, author, CEO, mother of four, and wife to renowned Afrikaans singer Heinz Winckler, Aletté's path has been anything but conventional.
Her transition began naturally - even during image consultations, she found herself addressing deeper issues. "I knew the person sitting in front of me had lies they believed about themselves," she explains. "You have to get to the root - why do you hate your nose? Who do you need to forgive?" This inner healing emphasis eventually surpassed her image consulting work entirely.
2024 became Aletté's "year of war" - a prophetic word from God that prepared her for unprecedented trials. Public controversy erupted when she and Heinz appeared on the cover of Rapport newspaper for being "too conservative." What followed was a cascade of challenges: relationships ending, betrayal, public humiliation, and severe health issues that left her body completely depleted. "My husband said, 'I've lost my wife - who are you even?'" she recalls of that dark season.
The turning point came on December 31st, 2024, when friends prayed over her and everything shifted spiritually. God spoke through Ezekiel 3:16: "I've made you a watchman." Seven days after the first article, God confirmed her calling to speak truth to South Africa despite opposition. He warned of a second wave coming - and it did, with another public ambush that tested her resolve.
From this crucible emerged the 40-Day Exodus Experience, which began accidentally when health practitioner Leisha from Hadassah Healing Oils said, "Give me 40 days." What started as Aletté's personal health journey transformed into a movement that has now reached 16,000 participants globally. The program combines holistic health - proper nutrition, sleep, hydration - with deep inner healing through daily devotionals, prayers, and forgiveness work.
The results have been staggering: participants losing 40-45 kilos, chronic health issues resolved, marriages restored. One woman struggling with eating disorders and a crumbling marriage recently testified that God completely restored her relationship - she and her husband were baptized together.
Aletté also created the Radical Reset retreats, weekend intensives where 300+ women experience worship, teaching, deliverance, and baptism. The testimonies stream in constantly, with many describing complete life transformation.
Her message to those who've given up on breakthrough is direct: "You cannot sit in fetal position and cry and do nothing. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. The first step to breakthrough is raising your hand and saying, 'Here I am.'" She emphasizes that forgiveness is the key unlocking every area - health, finances, relationships.
Despite facing three Rapport covers (two in November 2024, two in November 2025), public criticism calling her a "false prophet," and attempted professional sabotage, Aletté stands firm. "We need people to stand like never before," she declares. "The reward is so big on the other side of heaven. It is worth the sacrifice, worth the shame, worth the misunderstanding."
