Westbury residents say years of gang violence have left deep emotional scars, with children and innocent bystanders often caught in the crossfire. Community leaders are calling for stronger intelligence-led policing to curb the flow of illegal firearms, while residents say lasting change will also require greater community involvement and psychosocial support to break the cycle of trauma and retaliation.
