Owner says safety precautions followed in CBD fire

The owners of the old Lonsdale Hotel say the student accommodation on the upper levels of the multi-storey edifice was not affected by a blaze there earlier today. The Dass Group's Shamim Ramjeewon says safety precautions were followed during the incident.
