A name synonymous with opera here in Cape Town is undoubtedly that of Angelo Gobbato who, apart from being an operatic baritone, has had a distinguished career as an opera director, Head of the UCT Opera School and Artistic Director of CAPAB. Angelo has received many prestigious rewards both locally and internationally and is about to release his book "A Passion For Opera" to coincide with his 75th birthday in July.
