In this fifth episode of In discussion with Derrick, we featured STANLIB’s Chief Economist, Kevin Lings. In this series he discusses the state of SA after the recent social unrest, to answer the question: “Is SA being left behind. Kevin, the chief economist is responsible for our domestic and international research and forecasting is a highly sought-after commentator in the media. He has been with the group for 20 years, having joined Liberty Asset Management in 2001. He holds an honours degree from Wits University and from the mid-1990s to mid-2000s he lectured in economics part-time at the Wits Business School.
