Believe it or not, some people go to the cinema and choose to spend money on a movie that will possibly give them nightmares for a week.

Are they masochists? Maybe.

Even in the modern age of cinema, 'Paranormal Activity', which was released in 2007, was produced with a budget of $15,000 and ended up making a massive $193 million at the box office.

While some of us might never understand the horror appeal, these freaky fans could be cashing in on their love of all things creepy-crawly.
