Liverpool earned their biggest win of the season yesterday after ending the unbeaten streak of the defending champions, Manchester City on Sunday.
The match at Anfield was end-to-end stuff with both teams having scoring opportunities, but it was down to some individual brilliance by the striker Mo Salah that led to Liverpool winning 1-0.
While Salah managed to finish an opportunity for the Reds, on the opposite side of the field, Erling Haaland, also had a few quality opportunities for City.
Salah said they must build on the momentum from the win.
