Temba Bavuma - On staying on as the white-ball captain

Loading player...
The Proteas white-ball captain, Temba Bavuma, is determined to stay on in the role despite South Africa's shock exit from the ICC T20 World Cup.
Yesterday the Proteas, who were considered favourites earlier in the week, were eliminated through a shock 13-run defeat to the Netherlands in Adelaide.
This sees the Proteas having to return home, while Mark Boucher's rocky tenure as the coach has come to an end.
Bavuma feels that now is not quite the right time to step down as the skipper.
