Voice of Change - Dr Ewan Goligher - Human euthanasia

22.125.2022 - In Canada and several other countries, assisted death (or what is often known as human euthanasia), is legal and frequently practiced. In 2021, over 3% of deaths in Canada was through medical assistance in dying. That equates to 10 000 deaths in 2021 alone. How does this impact an individual’s approach to health care when dealing with chronic illness, pain, cancer or even anxiety around a medical diagnosis? And how should Christians feel about medical assistance in dying? To dig deeper in to this conversation, Canadian doctor, Dr Ewan Goligher joins Lauren to unpack his position and experience on human euthanasia.
