In 2021, over 3% of deaths in Canada was through medical assistance in dying. That equates to 10 000 deaths in 2021 alone. How does this impact an individual’s approach to health care when dealing with chronic illness, pain, cancer or even anxiety around a medical diagnosis? And how should Christians feel about medical assistance in dying?
