AZAPO Against 18.65% electricity tarrif increase

Azapo is now in its third day of protest at Nersa's head office in Gauteng.
Eskom's electricity tariff increase of 18.65 percent needs to be reconsidered, according to the party. It claims that the decision wasn't made with enough public participation. Azapo’s Gaontebale Nodoba says they will stay at Nersa's offices till their demands are met. The party was due to meet with Nersa's CEO Wednesday afternoon.
