Garth is a Medical doctor whose life has been infused by the power of story. His interest in story and health led to the creation of Soul City TV and radio dramas’ reaching over 45 million people educating on a wide variety of topics. He has expanded his interests to tackle broader social issues such as bridging societal divides, corruption and fatherlessness using films, TV dramas, podcasts, and social media through Heartlines, The Institute of Heartlines was founded by Garth in 2002. They work across Southern Africa with churches, schools, universities, and businesses. His an author of "Like Water is for Fish", The power of story in our lives.” He is a Schwab fellow of the World Economic Forum (WEF) a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative and Senior Ashoka. He is married to Jayne, and they have two children. He shares his Fatherhood journey with us.
