While Black Friday falls on Friday 29 November, the entire month of November will be dedicated to "specials" and discounts by many retailers. You may have noticed that discounts range from crazy price cuts, to deals that aren't really deals at all, causing many to wonder if the whole season is just false hype. Nonetheless, the adverts are enough to give any consumer that "FOMO" feeling. While this season may bring loads of amazing deals, it can also leave one financially overstretched if not careful, when taking on more purchases than we can handle.
