The Proteas Women’s coach, Mandla Mashimbyi, welcomes the pressure ahead of tomorrow second One-Day International against India in Colombo.
The Proteas have lost their first two games of the ODI Tri-Series which also features the hosts, Sri Lanka.
South Africa will need a win tomorrow if they are to stand any chance of reaching the series final, and there is some pressure.
Dealing with the pressure will be a good learning curve for the team as the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup will be played in India.
Mashimbyi told OFM Sport that it’s important for his team to learn as much as they can on the subcontinent.
