As commuters remained grounded in Ekurhuleni, today on Make It Make Sense, we unpack the SANTACO–City agreement with their spokesperson.

SANTACO halted taxi operations in parts of Ekurhuleni (Katlehong, Tembisa, Germiston) after authorities impounded taxis operating without licences; operators had to pay R5,000 each for release.

Commuter Impact: Thousands were stranded as both taxis and the Harambee bus service were suspended.
