Wessel Van Huyssteen stel belang in konsepte van plek en hoe om met die voorstelling van landskap in die era van die Leviaceen (die huidige era, gedefinieer deur die dominante, vernietigende mag van state, korporasies en kunsmatige intelligensie) om te gaan. Hy stel veral belang in hoe magsstrukture merke op die natuurlike landskap laat. Oliewenhuis Kunsmuseum huisves ‘n dekade van sy werke tot 8 Februarie 2026. Hy sluit by Yolanda Maartens aan in die OFM Kunsteklop met insig oor dit wat hom inspireer.
