Water cut plans 'desperate'

Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation, Mlungisi Johnson calls the Department’s decision to cut off water supply “a desperate move”. He says “you cannot cut water for citizens, it is their constitutional right”. He says with electricity, people can try to find alternatives, like gas, but with water there are no alternatives.
