PODCAST: FS Agriculture annual conference underway

Free State Agriculture's annual conference is underway outside Bloemfontein. This year, the organisation focuses on its members in an effort to restore their belief in the organisation. Ofm News' Christal-Lize Muller was there.

The construction of the Free State's Cornelis River Catchment Dam has been completed, according to the department of water and sanitation. The Department’s spokesperson, Sputnik Ratau, told OFM News that the Phumelela Local Municipality is under a lot of stress to deliver basic services, due to the fact that they are struggling with water supply. The completion comes right in time to ease the water challenges that this community is facing.

The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Senzeni Zokwana, has appealed to all farming organisations to work closely with government and isolate organisations like AfriForum who is not adding value to the crucial land issue in the country.
