LISTEN: Stacey and J Sbu share in the spirit of giving back

You have probably heard the familiar saying, “It is better to give than to receive.” KZN proved that this week as they came out in their numbers to help a dear fellow listener's family.

The Sheik family were awoken by smoke in their Musgrave flat last week, with the fire devastatingly wrecking their apartment.

The last 14 months plus have been really tough on people. The affects of the pandemic on health, finances, and mental well-being are of great concern.

Like many, the Sheik family had prayed and hoped that the new year would bring in new fortune. Unfortunately, the tragic fire has shattered those dreams as the family had to rush out of their apartment in the middle of the night.

They were forced to leave all their valuables behind.

Further to that, Stacey and J Sbu committed to organising some non-perishable items for the family that they would deliver on Friday. As the duo was making plans for their trip, they were contacted by the SPAR Group, who had heard the Sheik's story on the radio.
