#MatricFocus: Expert advise on what parents need to be on the look out for

As much as the announcement of the Matric results are almost always met with much jubilation it is important to note that this time period may not be a good time for some.

The matric class of 2020 are expected to get their results on the 22nd of February.

The week of the 14th of February to the 20th of February also marks: Teen and Suicide Prevention Week.

Stacey and J Sbu will be featuring some insights for parents and students for the month of February focusing on the class of 2020. The topics and conversations will be tailored to a different topic and have the opinion of an expert.

This week the focus is on mental wellness.

It is no secret that the suicide rate spikes during this time period with many students feeling the mounting pressure to pass their final year.

Mental wellness is a subject matter that is very close to Stacey and J Sbu's heart. Just last year, the duo had a mental health check in facilitated by Dr. Khanyile.
