Up at 3h30 every day to train before she clocks into work at 6h30 often only getting home after 7pm, balancing nursing and competitive sport requires sacrifice and planning.
Her weeks are filled with swimming, cycling, running, strength training and recovery sessions, all carefully arranged around demanding hospital shifts.
Working with people who are ICU bound and fighting for another day made her realise that you need to grab life by the horns and do the things you always thought you can't.
