The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development in the Northern Cape recognises thé importance of commercial farmers and the role they can play in providing support towards the development of small scale farmers. Newly appointed MEC, Mase Manopole, says mentorship by commercial farmers to small scale farmers is essential in an effort to prepare upcoming farmers to become commercial farmers.
