Judgement in live stock export via ship court case expected this week

A judgement in the National Council of SPCA's (NSPCA) application to interdict the export of live sheep across the equator by the companies Al Mawashi and the Livestock Transport and Trading Company, LTTC, is expected this week. This comes after the​ live export matter was back in the Grahamstown High Court last week. The sheep is currently quarantined at a feedlot in Berlin in the Eastern Cape. Marcelle Meredith, CEO of the NSPCA says they trust justice will prevail in this significant High Court case. OFM News' Christal-Lize Muller spoke to her on Wednesday....​
