Urgent appeal to Free State farmers to assist drought stricken areas, feed donations needed

Free State Agriculture (FSA) has made an urgent appeal to producers in the province to reach out to their counterparts in the drought-stricken Northern, Eastern and some parts of the Western Cape. There are areas in some parts of these provinces that are in dire need of fodder for their live stock. Dr Jack Armour, operations manager at FSA, says relevant agricultural associations in these provinces are now asking for support from their fellow farmers who are in a better situation in terms of grazing conditions and harvests because of good rainfall.
